What is this opportunity?

Join our startup company as a QA Automation Engineer and make a significant impact on the success of the organization. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to establish and implement quality assurance processes from the ground up. You will focus on testing from building a framework to verifying the company’s product. This is a highly technical and innovative part of the product, requiring a combination of analytical and creative thinking, and working closely with the product and development teams.

The QA Automation Engineer will be reporting to the QA Team Lead.

Who are you?

We are looking for a highly motivated QA automation engineer who is passionate about delivering a high-quality product and is very customer-focused.

You are technical, curious, and eager to learn. You have a background in QA and a good understanding of development methodologies and best practices. You understand the importance of prioritization provided by the product team. As a QA team member, you have the ability to work independently as part of a scrum team, as well as having great communication skills and being a team player.

How will you contribute?

As a QA Automation Engineer, your responsibilities and duties will include manual & automated testing of our product in both the pre-and post-release stages of the development lifecycle. You will define test plans and will look for problems and bugs, investigate them and help find solutions by understanding the impact on the users.

What qualifications and skills will help you to be successful?

• At least 3 years of proven experience as a QA engineer on a web based product
• At least 1.5+ years of experience in automation development
• Experience with Selenium, WebdriverIO, or similar frameworks
• Experience with Mocha, Jasmine, or other test frameworks
• Experience in QA & Agile methodologies
• Excellent ability to isolate, troubleshoot, and document bugs
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to details
• Good understanding of API requests
• Experience with testing/automated testing of Chrome extensions - Advantage
