We at Eleos are building a state-of-the-art behavioral health CareOps automation solution, our platform is a cutting-edge solution that turns behavioral health conversations into documentation and intelligence that drives better care, enhances therapists day to day, and increases their effectiveness and success.

As a Senior Data engineer, you will be taking a senior role in our R&D, you will be responsible for the design, architecture, stability, and reliability of our solution.

On the one hand, you will be taking on challenging hands-on efforts in the team, and on the other, you will be the source of knowledge, mentor, and guide your teammates.

How will you contribute?

  • Take responsibility for creating and implementing sophisticated tools that will enable us to effectively productionalize our machine learning models.
  • Optimize performance and cost over time, and empower our esteemed Product team to make informed and strategic business decisions.
  • Designing, building and maintaining extremely efficient, reliable, distributed infrastructure and exploratory-data-analysis tooling that will allow the product to work with constantly evolving data requirements and quality levels, and diverse ML models.
  • Designing data models and data warehouses and using SQL and NoSQL database management systems.
  • Writing and maintaining batch & real-time ETLs which operate on a variety of structured and unstructured sources, including the continuous management of ETL, data pipelines, processing, storage, and governance.
  • Enable researchers, data scientists and data analysts to be data driven and create tools that in turn allow the company to push the boundaries of business KPIs.
  • Monitor data performance.
  • Troubleshoot issues and solve problems, identify potential process improvement areas
  • Write object-oriented, clean, and maintainable code
  • Deliver quality results on time with minimal supervision

Require Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with large scale data processing, with distributed systems.
  • 5+ years of development in Python or one other general-purpose programming language.
  • At least 3 years experience with SQL
  • Experience building a data lake or a data warehouse using a data analytics platform.
  • Knowledge and experience with Spark / Flink / Map reduce - Advantage
  • Experience with Airflow or other orchestration and scheduling frameworks.
  • Knowledge of different storage services, micro-services, security features, and automation tools
  • Experience working with AWS - advantage
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform in context of data engineering practices. - advantage
  • Great team player with a hunger for code and high self-learning abilities
